The SF Paparazzi

Everyone's a celebrity in San Francisco in their own unique way. To tell you the truth, just being sober on a daily basis sets you aside from the majority of the roaming population.

The media often portrays a celebrity as someone rich and famous, naturally gifted with a figure and good looks, living a luxurious lifestlye, or being known for a talent worldwide, and it constantly contributes to an envious economy with fallacious judgements and values. The SF Paparazzi's take on a true celebrity is an an individual beholding a positive life full of individualistic style, creativite confidence, and a positive lifestyle. That alone sets you aside from the crazy people and negativity that infests this city, similiar to the world we live in.

We of the Paparazzi, set aside our lives to showcase the Celebrities of true style, creativity, and dedication on their journeys of entrepreneurship, mentorship, and success. Our goal is to not only be informative of a hidden fashion forward society here in San Francisco, but to spread this style IQ to the rest of the world and
emerging all walks of life and aspects of style from a street, high end, preppy, to designer level establishing what we define as fashionable "celebrity" globally.

Trend Breakdown:

The Men's vest has its perspectives throughout the industry. Dressed up or dressed down, it gives the appeal you have style along with a calm and personal personality with a classy persona. It has become popular through denim ways, corduroy, wool, and blended fabrics. ( My vest of choice right now would be by Penfield, innovating an outdoor vest with a plaid playoff)

Style Tips:

Accessorize with ties, hats, hankerchiefs, scarves, style it with button down collards, layered under blazers and peacoats.

As the classic business tie has passed its time in the corporate office, the slim tie trend slid its way into our closets. The classic bow-tie has also made its way through the clown costume era, formal tuxedos, and strict preppy lifestyle. Trended from solid colors, it has recently become known through plaid, oxford, and bold eccentric colors that can complete any plain outfit to characteristic.

Style Tips:

A nice button down shirt is ordeal to the first step. Next is a nice layer, dabbling with a light washed denim jacket, cardigan sweater, or but make sure its not too plain, making possible to look like an immature clown. The SF Fedora

Trend Breakdown:
Enough said about the style and capability a fedora has on any outfit you choose to show off in. The Fedora signifies a sense of class when worn, reminding me of a fashion forward fisherman's hat but definitely while yachting. Offering a mature and sophisticated look in an outdoor setting, it mostly is seen trendy during the seasons of Spring and Summer...From dark to light, straw to fur felt it can be worn with absolutely anything to dress and class it up.

Style Tips:
Ranging from denim, vests, sweaters, to cardigans just live life with a little more confidence on your head.

Saturday

The SF Leather Jacket

Trend Breakdown:
Not seen since the 70's, the leather jacket truly throws back retro and vintage into a modernistic appeal and that's rarely seen in the industry. Modern always seems to progress and the past seems to be forgotten but not in this case.

Style Tips:
Worn with the right denim and lifestyle shoe, give it an inspired street look. The jacket should be strictly fitted with no air pockets or baggy sleeves. The body shape should wrap a little above the waste for crisp & clean vintage look veering away from rugged and retro.

Trend Breakdown:

The ultimate raw street accessory, grabbing an inspiration and reflection from numerous cultures. Deriving from the Great Depression era, it reminds me of a city lifestyle with everyday clothing, and cold weather through an urban environment. The newsboy hat either fits someones style perfectly, or offers maturity to a younger demographic, making any facial appearance look 10 years older with a matured outlook on your style.

Tuesday

The SF Lifestyle Shoe

Trend Breakdown:
"Style is not something you pickup, its something your lifestyle creates -Changing of the Guards"..With that being said, a lifestyle shoe constantly changes because its more than a purchase, its something you always go back too and wear when you don't want to put very much of intellect into your outfit for the day...Men go through the stages from sneakers to designers labels, but lifestyle shoes serve to match any outfit and fit any situation that comes your way

Style Tips:
From the most popular labels of Converse and Vans on a street level, a more high end approach to the shoe range from Red Wings, Common Projects, Clarks, Spares, Chronicles of Never, to SpringCourts. Higher price points serve to a higher demographic and aid to style rather than making it.

Monday

The SF Eye Glasses

Trend Breakdown:

Trickling down from the Aviators, Wayfarers, to the optics, shades and glasses are quite explosive in trends this year. The eye glasses are dominating the style market everywhere with the clear lens from the past for an unattractive professional type taking his job way too seriously to the coke bottle glasses wearing nerd.

Style Tips:

Im a big fan of Oliver Peoples newest collection, bringing character and intellect to an innocent personality or youthful face. The Eye Glasses trend defines an outfit and personality, mixing professionalism, maturity, and a fashion forward style beholding true wisdom to the public eye.

Sunday

Trend Breakdown:
There's no other way to reflect a lifestyle of daily jean wearing then to finally put it on your back without matching it perfectly with your jeans. Light washed denim seems to be dominating the markets, and occasionally you'll catch some black to dark washed denim still floating around.

Style Tips:
From crazy zippers, detailed buttons, and contrasting colored stitching, denim is highly accessible for all types of layering and accessorizing. Dabbling with kerchiefs, ties, and colorful pendants to add a little custom flavor, just be creative with this piece and you cant go wrong.

Sunday

The SF Lifestyle Luggage

Trend Breakdown:
In an urban environment where a carry-on is a must on a daily basis, bringing style to such a necessity seems challenging but there's always ways around that. Trends of day to day luggage comes from the specific lifestyle someone lives, being a student or a Financial district banker.

Style Tips:
Think dark and subtle shades around the brown, black, and green palette. One of my favorite companies in Lifestyle Bags are Porter, who innovate crazy pockets and design to backpacks, small carry-ons, to messengers..For the business look, worn out leather is a common fabric used for briefcases, but be a little more stylish, play around with a small duffel bag, messenger bag or innovative bowling ball shaped duffel. In the city, the design on a bag makes more of a statement on who you are rather than whats actually in it, so consider the lifestyle and purpose you live now to the future direction your life is heading to on this purchase.

Saturday

The Inspiration

(Left) The High class lifestyle prepster look dominating the Stockholm streets, this outfit is beautifully accented with color and small accesories that still complete what he was going for. The khakis and loafers create the whole outfit on this one

(Right) The raw Milano style really intrigues me, nothing truly pops out but everything perfectly accents each aspect of the outfit that it comes out as one piece rather than indvidual accesories and garments...love the plaid button down and tie he's sporting under the dark greens and black with the hoody to finish it off the street everyday lifestyle
